The two biggest questions Dianna is asked: 1) When did you become a writer? 2) How do you come up with your stories?
The day President Reagan was shot Dianna was in 5th grade. From that real event that day, she developed all sorts of fictional scenes and dialogue in her head, something she did constantly with everything. When she asked friends, classmates and teachers what scenes and stories they came up with because of the attempted assassination on the President, they basically had no clue what she was talking about. At that moment, she realized she was the only person she knew who did this sort of thing everyday.
As time past, she recognized her passion to write suspense novels, and like breathing, it’s something she simply does automatically. Being an EMT, being a mom, and being blessed with this writer brain, the stories never stop flowing. Developing a good story, however, is where the real writing occurs. Fortunately, she loves the arduous revision process, as it is where she takes her shell of a story and makes it worth reading.
